Cutting Knives and Screens

Cutting knives can have an enormous impact upon output capacity, the type of plastic material being reduced to regrind and the maximum run time between maintenance cycles. Pagani designs each knive configuration for maximum output relative to the machine they are included with as well as maximum run time between maintenance cycles. This is one reason there are many different configurations of rotor and bed knifes.

Screens within the cutting chamber control the size of the regrind granules being manufactured from the original plastic material. Screen densities can be custom configured for specific regrind requirements.
